OUR YEAR OF NEW DAWN 2025
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Psalm 68:19.
Every day will I bless thee; and l will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised thy name; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts Amen.
Beloved, from the depth of my heart, l wishes you prosperious and Happy New Year! You are welcome to the Year, 2025!
We thank God for His faithfulness, goodness and mercies in our lives in the previous year, 2024 and all He did for us. We give Him all the praise. And I decree that in this New Year, 2025, God shall perfect all that concerns you, in Jesus’ Name.
I pray for you this year, as you step out the Lord God Almighty shall lead you, He will open doors of opportunities onto you, God will guide you along the best pathway, you shall be well positioned for favour, blessing and breakthrough today in the name of Jesus Christ. Divine instructions that will give you testimonies shall be given to you in the name of Jesus Christ. God will watch over you, your children, family, and make your way prosperous in the name of Jesus Christ. I can see divine breakthrough coming your way, you shall end this year with exceeding joy and great testimony in the name of Jesus Christ.
Reference to our anchor Scripture, it makes it clear that everyday arrives with a load of benefits in this New Year. This means, every week, every month and every year arrives with a load of benefits from the Lord. Now, if God daily loads us with benefits; it means, He also “yearly” loads us with benefits.
You must understand that there is a divine package or budget for every new season of life. For this new-year, God has allocated a budget or package for your life. It is very important to understand this because you cannot access what you do not know. Revelation is key to possession.
In the secular world, governments of nations make budgetary allocations for their citizens every year. And if the government of this world can make such budgetary allocations for their citizens, the government of the Kingdom of Heaven would do much more for her own citizens.
Now, it is one thing for Heaven to have a package or a budget for you; it is another thing for you to access or benefit from that package. So, many people pass through the year empty-handed as if God does not have any plan for them for the year. It is not supposed to be so!
You see, one reason people do not access their yearly benefits from the Lord is their ignorance of those benefits.
Today, I decree the opening of your eyes to see the Scriptural divine packages for your life this year. Receive the grace to take responsibility to access your allocations from the Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Friends, I am pleading with you that, in this New Year, we need to earnestly ask God to show us His packages or allocations for our life for this year, 2025.And also Find out from Scriptures what to do to access those allocations.
Beloved, reference to God’s declaration for the year 2025 (A NEW DAWN),we need to look at this issue very well trusting that the holy spirit we give us deeper understanding of what it implies and reveal s Gods intention for our life in this new year.
Friends, we do not need a prophet to tell us the current situation of things in the nation and even around the world. Many of us are at the cross road of life, many are tired, weary and depressed but we all needs to be optimistic that the better days are ahead of us no matter the negative trends or circumstance. The holy scriptures has revealed the mind of God towards His children in Jeremiah 29; 11 that says” For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” On this note, I decree and declared that the year 2025 will surely have a glorious end in our life, family, business, works, ministry and even in our nation (Nigeria) in Jesus mighty Name Amen.
I will like to remind all the readers to agreed with me that we are on trying times presently and the ways out of trying times or difficult times is to be positive in our reasoning or thinking believing we shall get over it soonest. In the Bible verse,” Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18- 19
Before we go further on this subject matter, let me take a handful of minutes to emphasis on the meaning of A NEW DAWN .We need to have understanding of new dawn and what it takes to keep new dawn permanent.
What is new dawn? It means forgetting old happenings, the troubles, the setbacks, business failures, career lopsidedness and down journey of life and getting access to new beginning. Many in life have witnessed down journey in life, inability to secure comfort for their family members, defeat and derogatory statements being faced at work which may have caused untold hardship, don't be perplexed, there is provision for new beginning!
WHAT IS THE NEW DAWN? New dawn means;
i. A fresh start. Exodus 3:1-10
ii. An end to difficult era, the beginning of new era with the releasing of good helpers.
iii. Transformation of darkness to light. Genesis 1:3
iv. Bringing realization to divine promises. 2 Corinthians 1:20.
v. A new beginning to arise, shine. Isaiah 60:1
vi. Awakening form slumbering and sleeping. Proverbs 24:33-34.
vii. Revitalization of God's given ability. Phil 4:13.
viii. Recovering of lost virtues, ground or opportunity. Joel 2:25-27
ix. Getting encounter with God of divine repositioning. Mark 5:25-34.
x. Sudden divine intervention to sorrowful situation. Luke 7:11-15, Jeremiah 32:29.
Beloved, I will like to plead with you to imbibe these positive altitudes of a champion which is as follows;
-A) NEVER DWELL ON PREVIOUS SETBACKS. PUT THE NEGATIVE PAST BEHIND YOU
“And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.” Genesis 13:14-15. There are things God cannot give you until some things in your life are put behind you. Now, one thing to do to maximize a new season is to, identify what to put behind you. To maximize a new season, you must identify your “posteriority”, that is, what to put behind you.
Paul, in Philippians 3:13, said: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”It is very important to understand that to access what is ahead of you, there are things to put behind you.
Beloved, there are things God cannot give you until some things in your life are put behind you. Let me ask you a question: what did Lot add to Abraham’s life? Nothing! Rather, he engaged Abraham in strife.
What God expects you to put behind you may be a habit or bad characters, a business type, a relationship, a connection or an association like that of Lot and Abraham. God expects you to put behind you, anything that takes your time, energy, resources, attention, and thought without adding any value to your life. To maximize this new season, this New Year, you must put behind you anything that does not add value to your life, dream and relationship with God. You need to identify what to put behind you to access what is ahead of you and Leave your past at your past and focus on God for the unveiling of your future.
- B) ALWAYS EXPRESS THE HEART OF GRATITUDE IN EVERY SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCE OF LIFE.
One of the keys to accessing your divine package in 2025.is praises and Thanksgiving. “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.” Psalm 67:5-6.The earth is programmed to yield her increase for those who understand the language of praise and thanksgiving.
In the introduction, we saw that there is a divine allocation for your life this Year, 2025. God has already loaded into this Year, 2025, for you the benefits you need to fulfill His Purpose for your life. It is very important to know this if you must fully maximize the year. On this point, we shall look at what to do to make the most of this New Year, 2025:
Identify what to thank God for in the previous year. To maximize this New Year, 2025, you must identify what to thank God for in the previous years, especially the immediate past Year, 2024. You see, the earth is programmed to yield her increase for those who understand the language of praise and thanksgiving. When you praise God, the earth is under divine mandate to surrender what has been packaged into it for you.
God is saying to you, “I want you to thank me. I want you to praise me for what I have done for you before; thank me for the changes, breakthroughs and turnarounds you have experienced. And when you do that, you don’t need to beg me for anything; the earth must respond to your thanksgiving and release what it has for you.” If you praise God, the earth, governments, systems, and institutions will come under pressure to release to you what is yours.
I decree that as you praise God in this New Year, every man, woman, system, organization holding what is packaged into this year for you shall come under pressure and release them to you in Jesus’ Name. Let us make up our mind to praise God tirelessly this year. Always put creation and systems under pressure by consistent praise to access what is meant for you.
-C) CULTIVATE POSITIVE CHARACTER
“Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”Psalm 112:4.Righteousness brings brightness and unrighteousness invites darkness.
Beloved, I will like to lay more emphasis on this point of character. Why? Or, why is it necessary to Cultivate positive character? Character guarantees divine guidance and direction. A man is a products of his thought, thought leads to action, while action leads to habit, habits graduate to character and finally, Character gives way for destiny.” For as the man thinketh in his heart, so is he “Proverb 23;7
Friends, If our valuations, standards, estimates, perspectives, and pursuits are to conform to God’s we must share the same thought (Philippians 2; 2) Character is an essential requirement for going through this year successfully. The longevity of a person is tied to his integrity because sin cuts a person’s life short.
One essential necessity of life in this New Year is Divine guidance and direction. You need divine direction to know where your blessing lies; you need divine guidance to avert the plot of the evil one in this New Year. And one thing that guarantees divine guidance and direction is positive character. Iniquity on the other hand brings confusion.
Proverbs 11:3 says, “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” Integrity brings guidance. Character supplies direction. Proverbs 21: 29 says, “A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.” Uprightness brings direction. Again, Psalm 112:4 says, unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. So, righteousness brings brightness and unrighteousness invites darkness. A sinner will never find his way in life as long as he remains in sin. Character is key to guidance. Character is key to divine direction.
Beloved, in this New Year, refuse to live in darkness. Connect to divine direction by the power of positive character. Refuse to live in darkness and confusion in this New Year. Make up your mind to access divine direction by upholding positive character.
Beloved, in this New Year, we need to check our character because, One of the forces that take people through a new phase, a new season, and through life in general, is the force of character The good things that make life comfortable are created by God for the benefit of all, especially His children in this world. Man is expected to desire and possess them for sustenance and happiness in this world. Many promises of God are given to show God's desire, decision and determination to make sure that man possesses benefits and enjoys these earthly blessings before transiting to be with God in eternity. However, God expects the priority of His children to be on lasting eternal things over temporary things of this world.
Many people are cut short before their time because of the bankruptcy of godly character. And if you must enjoy all that God has for you in this New Year, 2025, you must uphold godly character.Character is not just powerful, character is power. The real power of a person is the power of character; not financial, muscular, or occult power; it is character power. The silence of character is louder than the utterance of compromise. When character is silent, it still has a voice. The silence of people of character weighs heavier than the utterances of characterless people.
Job was a man of character. Job 1:1 says, “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. “Job was undoubtedly a man of massive character. In his generation, he commanded both the audience and attention of people on the ground of character.
In Job 29:21-23, Job said, “Everyone listened to me and valued my advice, and were silent until I spoke. And after I spoke, they spoke no more, for my counsel satisfied them. They longed for me to speak as those in drought-time long for rain. They waited eagerly with open mouths.” (The Living Bible) You see, that was a man of character commanding the audience and attention of his generation.
In life, there are people whose voice others long to hear, and there are those whose voice people don’t have the patience to listen to. For example, no one wants to hear the counsel of an armed robber, a harlot, a drunkard, or a liar. In this New Year, 2025 make up your mind to work on your character so you can command the attention of your generation.
The Bible shows many cases of men, who missed, misplaced and messed up their priority in life and their end was eternally regretful. such men like Samson, Saul the Kings, Judas Iscariot
Furthermore, Character establishes a person on solid grounds in life. in Psalm 26:11-12.The Bibles says “But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD”. It has been confirmed that character guarantees stability in life. This means, if you want to experience stability in your life in 2025, you must give attention to your character. A person of character is a stable person. Psalm 26:1 says: Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.When you walk in integrity, your feet cannot slip. A person of character cannot slide in life. Godly character brings stability in life and destiny.Psalm 26:11-12 says: “But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
Beloved, character establishes a person on solid grounds in life. A person of character is standing on solid grounds. The ground under such a person is solid. On the other hand, a person without character stands on slippery grounds. This means, if you see a person without character today, nothing about his life is sure. His ground is shaky and slippery. There is nothing about him that is guaranteed. You cannot guarantee that where he is today is where he would be tomorrow. He may be up today, but when you look up tomorrow, you cannot find him there. It is only character that makes a person stand on solid grounds. Samson was up at a time, but at another time, he fell because of character deficiency.It is integrity that takes a person up and keeps him there.
Beloved, in this year, make up your mind not to slip or slide. Stand on solid ground by the power of positive character. The Lord shall help you up in Jesus’ Name. Refuse to live a slippery and shaky life this year. And Make up your mind to stand on solid grounds by the power of positive character.
D) FOCUS – A SECRET OF A GLORIOUS FUTURE
“Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.” Proverbs 4:25. It has been confirmed that God wants you to maximize this new season, this New Year, 2025. Every season comes with a fresh opportunity and privilege; every new season comes with a new chapter or phase of life.
Now, what do you do to maximize this new season or this New Year, 2025? Identify what to put before you. To maximize this New Year, 2025, you must identify what to put in front of you. What to put in front of you is your priority for year; you can call it your central focus. Proverbs 4:25 says: Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Focus is the secret of fire. Focus determines finding. Someone must be focused before something can be found. What belongs to you in the Year, 2025, cannot be found in a climate of distraction. They cannot be found until you are brutally focused. What you define determines what you can find. To define it is to find it. To define it is to discover it. If you can define it, you can discover it. If you can define it, God will deliver it to you. As long as Abraham defined the land, God gave it to him. Your focus this year may be to win one thousand souls for God before the end of the year, to have a business turnover of nothing less than one million dollars, or to build at least five churches. Maintain your focus.
Beloved, it is important for you to have a spiritual focus, family focus, business focus, career focus, etc. Refuse to exist without focus or vision. Have at least, a spiritual focus, family focus, kingdom focus, career focus and business focus. Do whatever it takes to actualize your focus.
Moreover, we must also have Kingdom focus. We need to be heavenly minded and earthly relevant “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’ Matthew 6:33. Setting and actualizing your Kingdom focus is key to actualizing all the other focuses of your life. It has been established that one way to maximize a new season is to identify what to put ahead of you; and this is called focus or vision. This focus may be a career focus, an academic focus, a spiritual focus, or a family focus, etc. Many people have different focuses, like a business focus, a career focus, a family focus, etc., but they neglect or leave out the Kingdom focus, hence, they could not achieve the other focuses in life. Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that seeking first the kingdom of God is key to accessing all other focuses of life. I had other focuses of life, but I put Kingdom focus first and deployed my life, time, resources, energy, potentials and all that I had into actualizing the Kingdom focus.And God is faithful. Today, having a house is not a prayer point. God has given me houses because I decided to seek His Kingdom first.There are so many people who are saying, “I want to build a house in Abuja, another house in Lagos, another house in Paris” without having a Kingdom focus. And God seems to say, “Okay, you want to build all those houses, what will you do for the Kingdom? And if you do not have any plan for my Kingdom, how will you achieve your own plans?”
Beloved, setting and actualizing your Kingdom focus is key to actualizing other focuses of your life. What is your Kingdom focus for this year? Do you have one? Set a Kingdom focus and trust God to actualize it.
E) AVOIDING INIQUITY AND UNCERTAINTY THIS NEW YEAR
‘But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”. Proverbs 4:18. Just as the path of the just shines brighter every day, the path of the compromised is filled with darkness and confusion. It has been established that darkness, confusion or uncertainty is one enemy of destiny. The destiny that is unclear or uncertain is a destiny that cannot be fulfilled. Uncertainty is one reason why people stumble through life and live a life of trial and error. When a person is uncertain and unclear about the way to go in life, he is full of questions and empty of answers. He asks in confusion: “Could this be the person I should marry? I like the way she is looking. Her appearance is good. Could this be the work I should do? Could that be the place I should apply to? Could this be the way to go in life?”
Such a life is filled with confusion. And you know a major reason for confusion in life and destiny is compromise. The compromised shall surely end in confusion. The path of the compromised is not clear. Just as the path of the just shines brighter every day, the path of the compromised is filled with darkness and confusion.
Beloved, if you must be a candidate for divine guidance and direction, you must clean up your life because the integrity of the upright guides them. The integrity of the upright is what qualifies them for divine guidance. And where there is no direction, disaster is inevitable. The absence of direction is the presence of disaster. For example, when an aircraft loses direction, disaster is inevitable. When a car loses direction, disaster cannot be avoided. In the same way, when a person loses direction in life, disaster is inevitable. You will never be a victim of disaster in the name of Jesus Christ.
So, every time you allow iniquity and compromise in your life, you are not only disconnecting yourself from the Presence of God, you are also disconnecting yourself from the Voice of God and consequently, disconnecting yourself from divine direction. Just as the path of the just shines brighter every day, the path of the compromised is filled with darkness and confusion. Avoid the pathway of uncertainty and darkness by avoiding a lifestyle of compromise and sin and ask God to purge your heart always. There can be no supernatural prosperity without financial integrity. A man or woman, who wants heaven to be involved in his or her endeavors, must have clean hands.
F) IMPROVING ON YOUR SUCCESSES, A KEY TO MAXIMIZING THE NEW SEASON
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. “Philippians 3:13. To maximize the year, 2025, you must identify what worked in the previous year but needs to be improved upon. It has been established that every new season comes with new privileges and opportunities for greater exploits in life and destiny. However, the ignorance of God’s programs for a new season is one reason why new seasons are not fully maximized. The children of Issachar had the understanding of times and how to maximize them, and hence they were commanders over their brethren (1 Chronicles 12:32). Now, how do you maximize a new season? How do you maximize the Year, 2025? Identify what worked in the previous year but need to be improved upon.
To maximize the Year, 2025, you must identify what worked in the previous year, but should be improved upon. In the wilderness, the children of Israel needed water, and God told Moses to strike the rock, and, water came out and they drank. On another occasion when they needed water, God told Moses to speak to the rock. This second strategy required less energy to achieve the same result of getting water out of the rock.
This year, God is saying to you, “I am not saying what you have been doing is not working well, but I want you to reduce your energy to get greater results. I want you to spare time and resources so you can move faster.”
So, it is true that what you are doing has worked, but there can be a better approach to work it. You can make up your mind and say, “What I am doing now is successful, but I can connect with the mind of God to find new ways to make it more successful.” This is how to improve on what has worked for you in the past. . Thank God for the successes you had recorded in the past and Seek new strategies to improve on your previous successes.
G) ALWAYS PRAY FOR THE EXCELLENCE SPIRIT
“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.” Daniel 6:3. Excellence is the key to eminence. To go up in life, you must embrace excellence.It has been established that excellence is key to the top. Excellence is the key to eminence. To go up in life, you must embrace excellence.
Beloved, make up your mind to excel in whatever you do and you will go up in life effortlessly. Excellence is the key to eminence. To go up in life, you must embrace excellence. Refuse to live a mediocre life. Make up your mind to be outstanding in all you do.
‘Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid”. Matthew 5:14
Reference to the above scripture, it reveals that we are to exist for a life of excellence or distinction. To exist in distinction or excellence means to exist in relevance and prominence. Our anchor Scripture reveals that excellence or distinction is God’s Place for His people. Every child of God is destined to be the light of the world, an elevated city that cannot be hidden. Now, what is the impact of existing in excellence or distinction? Existence in distinction or excellence is existence in relevance and importance on earth. When you exist in distinction or excellence, you are relevant and important to your generation; nobody can tell anyone not to mind you. This is because you have what it takes for people to mind you. If you exist in distinction and excellence, nobody can claim ignorance of your existence. To exist in distinction or excellence means to exist in relevance and prominence.
Beloved, make up your mind to live a life of importance and relevance. Let your family members, other relations, friends and even enemies be unable to claim ignorance of your importance and relevance on the earth. Remember this: To exist in distinction or excellence means to exist in relevance and prominence. Therefore make up your mind to matter to your generation. Also contribute positively to the development of the world and people around you by these kingdom principles.
H) WATCH YOUR DESIRES
“Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birth right.” Genesis 25:34. When your desires are out of your control, your destiny is out of control. It has been established that character is a critical factor to life and destiny fulfillment. Your character is a major determinant of the limit of your destiny. No one can go higher in destiny than the stretch of their character.
In our above verse, we saw one reason why Esau was “characterless.” He had no value for his birth right or heritage in God. In our Study today, we will look at another reason why Esau was regarded as one who lacked the character to fulfil his destiny. Esau had no control over his desires. He had uncontrollable appetite. He lacked self-control. No wonder, he could not control his appetite.
You see, people who have no control over their desires cannot fulfil their destiny. People who cannot control their appetite cannot control their destiny. Your destiny is out of control if your desires are out of control. We understand that people have fasted for forty days and even more. But here was Esau who could not fast for one day because he had no control over his desires. A person who has no control over his desires has no control over his destiny. When your desires are out of your control, your destiny is out of control.
Beloved, control your appetite; do not let your appetite control you. Make up your mind to put your desires and appetite under control. Put your flesh under subjection to fulfil destiny.
I) MAXIMIZE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES
“A wise youth works hard all summer; a youth who sleeps away the hour of opportunity brings shame.” Proverbs 10:5 (NLT) Every passing day of your life presents you with an opportunity to define or redefine your destiny. It has been confirmed that what you are today is the product of what you did or failed to do yesterday; and where you will be tomorrow is the product of what you are doing or fail to do today.
For example, you may have the privilege of opening a door for an elderly person, a chance to make a presentation, or offer a particular service; never hesitate to maximize it. That is an opportunity for you to redefine your destiny; maximize it by giving it your best. This is because wasted opportunities of yesterday are the reasons for the regrets of today.
You see, there are people who work in a place half-heartedly. It is common to hear such people say, “I am just working temporarily here. My real work is not this one; by the time I get my real work, I will give it my best.” If you have this kind of mentality, you are wasting your time. You are in essence wasting your life because time is the building block of your life. The wastage of time is the wastage of life. When the time ends for a person, we say, he has died.
You see, as time passes, and you are not investing your life and the best of all you have into time, your life is wasting without your knowledge. The wisdom is, anywhere you find yourself per time, whether as a cleaner, sweeper, tailor, mechanic, or messenger, etc., give that task everything you possess. Let it become your habit to always give your best per time. After a short time, that excellence that has become your habit will form your character and your character will determine your destiny. Refuse to allow any opportunity or moment pass you by without sowing the seed of excellence and hard work. Do not be weary in doing the right thing.
J) DETERMINED TO PAY THE PRICE FOR THE TOP
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” Philippians 3:13.
Beloved, it is one thing to desire to go up and it is another thing to be willing to pay the price to rise to the top. You must understand that no one stands out in life by chance; no one becomes outstanding or excellent by mistake. Every form of greatness comes with a price to pay.If you see someone standing out in life; they are not standing out by chance. If you see anyone standing out in life, that person made the decision and went ahead to pay the price to stand out. You see, this is the kind of decision that takes people to the top. It is not sitting down and thinking that what will be. Make up your mind to know and be willing to pay the price to go up in life. Shun the lifestyle of laziness and idleness.
K) PERSISTENCE – A KEY TO DISTINCTION
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Proverbs 22:29. Doing things occasionally is not what brings results; doing things habitually and persistently is key to distinction. Persistence is key to seeing results in life. Some people do things occasionally and wonder why they do not see results. Refuse to do the right things occasionally.Embrace the discipline of persistence.
In Matthew 20:28, Jesus has made the provision for any challenging situation that we maybe going through, new dawn comes with making request to the MOST HIGH GOD, there is nothing hard for Him to do. Jeremiah 32:29. To access your new dawn, you must follow the TRUE DOOR. John 10:9, getting fresh start begins with personal transformation in thought and in character of one that desires it, act of gratitude to God and affirmation of one status as light. Matthew 5:13-16 will sustain one's new dawn and open more doors.
Finally, how can new dawn be kept permanently? These are the things to do to have permanent new dawn:
a) Show gratitude to God of Wonders.2 kings 5:25
b) Always see yourself as light over darkness, having Godly thought. John 9:5
c) Be obedient to divine instructions. 2 kings 5: 10,15, John 9:7
d) Testify of your new era. John 9:11, Matthew 9:29-31
e) Abstain from contamination that may terminate your new beginning. 1 Thess.5:22.
f) Always believe in divine presence and His influence. Isaiah 41:10, Hebrews 11:5.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, please give me fresh start.
2. Father, permanently end difficult era in my life and release good helpers to me.
3. Father, terminate every form of darkness out my life's journey.

TOPIC: A PITFALL TO AVOID IN THE NEW YEAR
SCRIPTURE: So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. GENESIS 3:23.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Sin makes one lose God and His Voice, and when a person loses God, he has lost everything in life.
The Scripture is full of the pitfalls of men and women who walked with God and failed. Also documented in Scriptures are the stories of men and women who succeeded with God.
In our Study today, we shall look at one pitfall of Adam that we should avoid so we don’t fall as he fell.
One pitfall of Adam was his sin of disobedience to God. God instructed him not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of the garden (Genesis 2:17).
But he ate the fruit alongside his wife. They both sinned against God and were disconnected from the Presence and Voice of God. They were driven from the Garden of Eden to find their way in life.
At first, they had a relationship with God. Genesis 3:8 reveals that they always heard the Voice of the Lord God in the Garden of Eden. Every cool of the day, God came down to commune with them. That was their normal way of life.
But when Adam and Eve fell into sin, in Genesis 3:23, God sent them away from the Garden of Eden. They lost the Presence and Voice of God. They were driven out of Eden to find their way in life and do whatever they wanted to do.
You see, sin drives a person from his ordained place in God. Sin makes one loses God and His Voice, and when a person loses God, he has lost everything in life. Therefore, make up your mind to depart completely from sin this year. Avoid the pitfall of Adam.

Now, one way to maximize a new season is, identify what worked that needs to be worked on again and again.
There are things that succeeded last year. There are things that worked that must be worked on again and again.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says:
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
To be steadfast means to be consistent; it is to be on duty; it is to keep doing something.
I read some time ago that nothing succeeds like excess.
There is a connection between success and excess.
By excess, we mean excess of the right thing; that is, excess of prayer, worship, giving, evangelism, etc.
Acts 2:42 says:
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Please note; And they continued …
And because they continued, what was their outcome?
Acts 2:47 answers the question for it says:
… And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
As they continued, there was an explosion or increase in the number of disciples.
So, continuity is the way to explosion, increase and addition in life. If anything must explode, someone must persist.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To rise to your ordained destiny of excellence and take your place, you must know who you are.
Many years ago, someone came to see me in my office to tell me about the assignment God gave to him. God gave him the assignment of distributing our daily devotional, the Seeds of Destiny, and also the preached messages in CDs massively to people in mass transit buses.
He told me that one day, he came to the production department of our Tape Ministry and ordered for more than five thousand (5000) copies of a particular message for free distribution.
He said that that particular night, in a dream of the night, he saw the angel of the Commission who appeared in my face saying to him, “Move to the next level!”
The next day, he got a contract of 1.3 Billion Naira. And that next level meant a contract of 1.3 Billion Naira.
The point is, we are not designed to be little at all; we are not destined for microscopic existence. Every seed of Abraham is a nation.
If you are a businessman who owns an organization, before Jesus comes, God will make your organization grow to the point of having a budget that will be bigger than the budget of some nations of the world.
You see, you are destined to be mighty. You are destined to be great. You are destined to be on top. Your destiny is that of greatness and largeness. You are in a class of your own. That is who you are.
However, someone people say, “If that is who I am, if I am destined to be great, why then am I suffering? Why am I stagnant in life?”
Beloved, it is very important to know who you are in Christ. Psalm 49:20 says:

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Complacency or early arrival mentality is a killer of destiny.
When we were two years old in Ministry, some journalists came to us and said, “This ministry has succeeded so fast. Can you tell us the secret of your success?”
I was shocked! Can you see or imagine the question they were asking me at just two years old in Ministry?
And truly, when the Ministry was a year old, the sanctuary we used at that time had five canopies outside. And by the second year, it was exploding. Then the journalists came to ask us to tell them our secret of ministerial success.
I said to them, “We have not yet started and you are asking us our secret of success? We are only two years old as a Church. When we start, I will let you know.” And I have not let them know till now.
In my mind, I said to myself, “How do you tell a two-year old child to tell you how he succeeded in doing what?”
When you know that you have not started, it would kill every spirit of complacency and early arrival mentality in you. Complacency or early arrival mentality is a killer of destiny.
God’s servant, Pastor E. A. Adeboye said that he once had a teacher. When he and others were making C grade in class, this teacher would tell them, “your mates are making B grade and you are here making C in mathematics.”
Then they put more effort in studying hard and got a B grade; and then the teacher said, “your mates are getting A, you are getting B.”
When he worked harder and got an A grade, the teacher said, “your mates are getting A+, you are here getting A.”
Then they struggled and got the A+. And the teacher said again to them, “your mates are already in the university, but you are here talking of A+. You should be in the university by now.”
The lesson here is, refuse to settle down. Keep moving forward.
REMEMBER THIS: Complacency or early arrival mentality is a killer of destiny.

TOPIC: PICTURED BEFORE CREATION
SCRIPTURE: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. JEREMIAH 1:5.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God pictured you before He created you; your assignment was defined before your existence.
It has been established that we serve the God of purpose, design and objectivity. He is the God who plans His Acts and acts out His Plans. He is not a God of random motion or trial and error.
We serve the God who does not create a person and then, begins to wonder what to do with the person He created.
In Jeremiah 1:5, He says,
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
This means, you were God’s picture before you became God’s creature. God pictured you before He created you; your assignment was defined before your existence.
Beloved, God did not bring you into this world to waste your life and time. You were selected and ordained by God from your mother’s womb.
Look at this illustration: When a man has a relationship with his wife for the sake of conception, it is confirmed that he introduces more than a hundred million sperm cells; and each of these cells could fertilize the egg of the woman.
What this means is, when God was creating you, He decided to lay His hands on a particular sperm cell to fertilize an egg to form you. And when that happened, all the other ninety-nine plus million cells died.
The truth is, millions of potential human beings perished for you to be created. Millions of potential human beings were given away so you could fulfill God’s purpose and ordination for your life.
Now, you must understand that one reason why it is too late for you to fail on earth is that you already succeeded while in your mother’s womb; God separated you from the womb and decided that you should live. Therefore, make up your mind to fulfill God’s Purpose for your life and succeed in it at all cost.
Remember this: God pictured you before He created you; your assignment was defined before your existence.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Always live in the consciousness of God’s Purpose and ordination for your life.
2. Discover God’s Purpose for your life and make effort to fulfill it.

THOUGHT: We live in a world that is overrun with the plague of ingratitude.
The Scripture reveals that our God is love, and whoever does not love does not know God.
1 John 4:8-9 says,

This implies that the love nature is the God Nature. You become like God when you love others; you release the potential of God or the God-life in you when you love the people around you.
However, even though the love life is highly rewarding, there are hindrances to walking in love.
The major challenges or hindrances to walking in love are contrary or negative human actions or reactions.
One terrible example of negative human actions and reactions is ingratitude.
The way people behave can hinder your walk of love. We live in a world that is overrun with the plague of ingratitude.

In our world today, people that you did good things for will behave as though you did nothing for them.
You will love them genuinely, but they will pay you hatred for your love. The world is filled with people who reward good with evil.
We see an example of such in Scripture in the person of Lot. Lot was nothing before Abraham raised him. When God multiplied Abraham in Genesis 13:2, God also multiplied Lot (Genesis 13:5).
But not too long after that, the servants of Abraham and those of Lot began to strive.
We live in a world where those you lifted would suddenly begin to compete with you. You might have picked someone who was nothing, and lifted them from grass to grace, but suddenly, they began to engage in competition with you.
They were nothing before you met them. You took them and lifted them, but now, they are competing with you. That is the kind of world we live in.
My counsel is, refuse to be ungrateful both to God and man. Never forget your root. Do not rebel against the hand raised you.
Remember this: We live in a world that is overrun with the plague of ingratitude.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. By all means, avoid the spell of ingratitude.
2. Never forget your root. Do not rebel against the person who raised you or bite the finger that fed you.

Topic: FIGHTING YOUR WAY TO THE TOP
SCRIPTURE: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is no future without a fight, no flight without a fight.
It takes the engagement of forces to fulfil destiny. One of the forces required to fulfil destiny is the force of a fighting spirit. There is no future without a fight, no flight without a fight.
Some time ago, I sat by an aircraft engineer in an aircraft, and asked him a question, “What makes an aircraft to fly?”
This was what he told me: “There are four forces that are involved in a flight. There is a force that pushes it forward which is called the thrust. There is another force that takes it up, and it is called the Lift. There is a force that tries to push it backward like the wind. This force is called the drag. And there is a force that tries to bring it down and it is called gravity.”
He continued, “For an aircraft to fly, the thrust must overcome the drag, and the lift must overcome the gravity. And when the thrust overcomes the drag and the lift overcomes the gravity, then, there is flight.”
In life, there may be forces around your life trying to push you backward and there are forces around your destiny trying to push you down; you must make up your mind to overcome these forces in order to fulfil destiny.
You must refuse to be stopped by any force in life in your journey of destiny.
Matthew 11:12 says,
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
You need a degree of “ruggedity” to fulfil destiny.
You need audacity to maintain authority in the realm of the spirit. If you give room to timidity, you settle for a lifetime of adversity. Make up your mind never to give up, give in, or give out. Decide to persist until you prevail and succeed.
Remember this: There is no future without a fight, no flight without a fight.

TOPIC: THE SECRET OF DANIEL’S LIFTING
SCRIPTURE: Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. Daniel 6:4.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Integrity does not demote a person; rather, it promotes a person.
Upright character has a lifting power. Integrity and uprightness of character facilitate lifting and promotion in life.
Daniel was a figure in Scripture who was lifted by the power of integrity.
Daniel 6:1-2 says:
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
It is important to note that Daniel was in charge of the King’s affairs and there was no damage.
The New International Version puts verse 2 this way:
‘…so the king will suffer no loss.’
The King seemed to have told his assistants:
Let us look for someone who will look after the money so that nothing would miss from the treasury.
And the only person they could find to take charge of the principal affairs of the empire, including the treasury, was Daniel. Daniel was put in charge and nothing got missing or damaged.
As a result of Daniel’s financial integrity, the king set him over the whole realm.
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Daniel 6:3-4
This was the secret of Daniel’s lifting.
Beloved, integrity does not demote a person; rather, it promotes a person. Uprightness does not decrease a person; rather, it increases a person. Integrity is the twin of prosperity; holiness is the twin of wealth. All the people who were lifted and empowered financially by God were people that had uprightness of character.
REMEMBER THIS: Integrity does not demote a person; rather, it promotes a person.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to climb to the top through the ladder of uprightness.
2. Maintain the discipline of upright living to remain at the top.

TOPIC: YOU ARE UNSTOPPABE

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: No evil can stop a child of God; it is the child of God that is meant to stop evil.
Sometime ago, a young man sent me a text message. He said that some people threatened him and asked him to relocate the church he was pastoring from the location where they were to another location if he wanted to be alive.
And he asked me what he should do. I told him, “The people are the ones to leave that place for you, and not you leaving the place for them.” That was the end of that threat.
Beloved, you must understand that you are wind according to John 3:8, and as wind, you do not surrender or bow to any negative thing. You are irresistible, unstoppable, “unharassable”, indefatigable, and indomitable. The devil that can tell us how and where to hold church services will never be born.
Sometime ago, we had an occultic house side-by-side with our church at Area 1 then. There was a fence demarcating the occultic house from our church building.
In the occultic house, they had all manner of occultic books, candles, and other things. They practice what they call “Incense Bathing” where they bath people naked.
And then, I told our people, “These occultic people cannot survive here. We cannot be here together with them. Light and darkness cannot coexist. One must move for the other and we are not the one to move for them.”
That was how we closed the place forever; they stopped functioning. Suddenly, they had catastrophe, and the man closed down the place, packed his luggage and ran out of town. That land is ours now because we bought it. No evil can stop a child of God; it is the child of God that is meant to stop evil.
REMEMBER THIS: No evil can stop a child of God; it is the child of God that is meant to stop evil.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Always remember that you are unstoppable. Do not allow any force of hell to intimidate you.
2. Make up your mind to end the reign of evil in your environment.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your gift unlocks your greatness.
It has been confirmed that the deployment of potentials is a trigger for destiny fulfilment.
Your potential is key to your possibility. Your potential, when adequately and properly deployed, opens up your opportunities in life. Your potentials equip you with authority.
This happened in the life of Joseph. It was his potential that opened up his entry into the palace of Pharaoh, the place of authority and influence.
Similarly, it was David’s gift that took him into the court of King Saul as an instrumentalist. That is why it is not possible to bury your potential and realize your destiny. Your gift is the key to your lift.
Proverbs 18:16 says,
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
Your gift unlocks your greatness; your gift brings you to the realm of eminence and prominence.
When you deploy your gift properly by using it in the service of God and man, God would anoint you to become a wonder to your generation.
Psalm 89:20 confirms this,
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him.
Beloved, God is looking for servants to anoint; He is not looking for masters. God is looking for people who are willing to serve Him. God is looking for people who are willing to service their generation with their gifting, so He can anoint them.

The Blessing of God is critical for life and destiny fulfillment. The Blessing has the magnetic capacity to attract possibilities, opportunities, and relevant personalities to the life of the blessed.

When you are blessed, what other people look for, looks for you.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says,

Possibilities and opportunities look for a blessed person.
Take the life of Joseph for example: Joseph was in prison, and God brought the personality that would take him to the palace to him. The prison that was meant to be a closed chapter but for him, it became the place where his link to the palace was established, all because he was a blessed man.
Genesis 40:2-3 says,
2 And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the baker.
3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
If the two officers who provoked Pharaoh were put in the prison, the place where Joseph was, it means there were other sections of the prison beside where Joseph was.
The question is, why did they not put the two officers of Pharoah in another place or section of the prison other than where Joseph was?
It was because the Blessing on Joseph was pulling the relevant personalities to him.
And not only that, the Bible reveals that the captain of the guard handed them over to Joseph. In fact, he charged Joseph with them. This means, he told Joseph something like, “Take care of these people; they are under your control.”
And you know, instead of Joseph suffering them, he served them.
The Blessing of God is indeed, a magnetic force that pulls all that is required for life and destiny fulfillment into the life of the blessed.
Remember this: A blessed person exists as a mobile magnet that attracts possibilities, opportunities, and relevant personalities to his life.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Be determined to access the blessing of God and exist as a blessing to your generation.
2. Obey all relevant scriptural principles required to attract the blessing of God.

Jacob was a patriarch in Scripture who walked with God. He lived such an exemplary life that made him a good example to follow. He knew the God of his grandfather, Abraham and of his father, Isaac. He also inherited the Blessing of Abraham.
Now, one secret of Jacob was a fighting spirit. Jacob was a fighter per excellence. He was the second child of Isaac after Esau. At a point in his life, he realized that his future was bleak because the Abrahamic covenant blessing on his father, Isaac, was going to be passed on to Esau. This realization made him fight his way into possessing the Blessing.
He sat down and thought, “I cannot watch and be rendered useless in this family.” Along the line, he observed how careless and profane his brother, Esau, was. So, he went ahead and negotiated with Esau and “fightfully” took the birth-right. After that, he went for the Blessing, and took it.
Thus, Jacob got the Covenant Blessing through the engagement of a fighting Spirit.
It did not stop there; 21 years later, he wrestled with an angel for a change of identity.
The angel told him, “Let me go, for the day breaketh”
But he said, “I can’t let you go, unless you bless me. I don’t know when I will see you again. Let us fight it out now.” (Paraphrased).
So, he fought with the angel and his name was changed from Jacob to Israel. Jacob is a person, but Israel is a nation. God seemed to have told him, “You are no more a person; you are now a nation.”
Beloved, if you are willing to fight in the realm of the spirit, God will change your story and identity. It takes a fighting spirit to change your situation and enlarge your capacity.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Like Jacob, make up your mind to engage the fighting spirit to possess your God-given inheritance.
2. Persist with God until your change comes.

TOPIC: NO COMPARISON IN DESTINY.
SCRIPTURE: For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:12.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You will never attain greater heights in life if your yardstick of measuring success is comparing yourself with others.
It has been confirmed that no two individuals are exactly the same. Everyone has their own unique set of talents, gifting and potentials. That is why to compare yourself with people is to limit yourself in life and destiny.
A major hindrance to attaining greater heights in life is that of comparing oneself with others. You will never attain greater heights in life if your yardstick of measuring success is comparing yourself with others.
There are people that the earth is clapping for (because of their seeming success) but heaven is crying for them. How unfortunate it would be for the same people to be your yardstick of measuring success.
People may see someone’s seeming success and say, “This man is highly successful; he has defeated everyone; he has really won in life.”
But heaven’s verdict about him may be, “He hasn’t started yet.”
I read in a book many years ago about a great evangelist who saw all manner of great results and exploits in his ministry.
There was a time he had an explosive crusade in South Africa that recorded greats healings and miracles. When he saw these mighty works of God, he said, “The world is under my feet now.” Probably, he thought that because of the massive results and crowd turnout in that crusade, he was now on top of the world. He felt he had done what no one else had ever done. He was comparing his results with the previous exploits of other people.
Sadly, that was his last crusade.
After that massive and impactful crusade, he became incapacitated and confined to a wheel chair.
What a tragedy!
While I was reading this story, the LORD told me, “The man stopped where he was meant to start.”
Beloved, God’s measurement of impact is not just physical results, but the ratio of “your potential” over “your expression.” It is the ratio of what God put inside you versus what you pushed out.
Therefore, make up your mind to press deeper into God to fulfill His Purpose for your life. Do not compare yourself with anyone; rather, compare yourself with how far you have been able to fulfill God’s Purpose for your life. Aim high and set greater targets.
Refuse to end where and when you are meant to be starting. Let no man’s results be your yardstick for measuring your success in life and destiny.
Remember this: You will never attain greater heights in life if your yardstick of measuring success is comparing yourself with others.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to compare your results in life with other peoples’ results and achievements.
2. Compare yourself with the rate at which you have been able to fulfill God’s Purpose for your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Looking away from man, and looking up only to God is a fundamental principle for accessing supernatural provision.
Our God is a jealous God; He does not want us to look up to any man or worship any other god besides Him. Those who look up to God never go down in shame.
Looking away from man, and looking up only to God is a fundamental principle for accessing supernatural provision. Many people downplay this principle and consequently, they struggle in life.
You access divine provisions when you come to a point where your faith is only in God, not in the government, or in any system of the world.
Psalm 34:5 says,
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
When you look unto God, light would come from Him to you; when you look unto God, your burden would be lifted.
This was what Abraham did. In Genesis Chapter 14, Abraham said unto the king of Sodom, that he (Abraham) had lifted up his hand unto the Lord, the Most High God, the possessor of heaven and earth, that he would not take from the king, a thread, even to a shoe latchet, lest the king should say that he had made him rich.
In other words, Abraham was boldly declaring that he was not looking unto man, but unto God.
You see, God is a jealous God; when you look unto man, you rob yourself of access to divine provisions.
In the beginning of our ministry, we declared our stand in looking only unto God. This is because the agenda of God is too big for one person to sponsor. As we continue to look unto God, He has never disappointed us as a Ministry.
Many times, when we said there is no individual that is behind what God is doing in our Ministry, some people get angry. But that is okay, because we are not willing give God's Glory to anyone.
Please, make up your mind to look away from men; focus your gaze on God so you can access His provisions.
Remember this: Looking away from man, and looking up only to God is a fundamental principle for accessing supernatural provision.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to lean on the arm of the flesh for your survival and provision on earth.
2. Only look up to God for your sustenance in life.

TOPIC: NO ONE CAN STOP YOU
SCRIPTURE: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. MATTHEW 11:12.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If God can set aside His own law because of a fighter, there is no witch, devil or principality that can stop you from becoming what God wants you to be if you deploy the fighting spirit.
We have seen that it takes a fighting spirit to access your inheritance in God.
Ruth was one person who accessed her inheritance by the fighting spirit.
Originally, Ruth was not an Israelite. She was from the tribe of Moab, a cursed tribe that came out from the union of Lot and one of his two daughters. Ruth was married for ten years, but had no child and then, her husband died. She was a barren widow.
Then, it was time for Naomi, her mother in-law to return to her father’s house in the land of Israel.
You know, God said that Moabites must never enter the congregation of the Lord (Deuteronomy 23:3-6). This means, Ruth was not qualified to enter the congregation of the children of Israel. She was not qualified to follow Naomi to the land Israel.
But Ruth fought her way into the land of Israel.
When Naomi, her mother in-law asked her to go back, she replied “I am going nowhere. I am not going back; your God shall be my God, your people shall be my people. Where you die, there I shall die; where you are buried, there, I shall be buried. It is only death that can separate us” (Ruth 1:16-17, paraphrased).
And because of her fighting spirit, Ruth, who was a stranger that was not meant to share fellowship with the people of God, forced her way into commonwealth of Israel which was contrary to divine injunction. It was God who made the law that the Moabite must never mingle with Israelites; but when God saw her decision and fighting spirit, he set aside the law. God seemed to have said, “I can stop other Moabites, but not this one.” And because Ruth was a fighter, she became one of the ancestors of Jesus Christ.
Beloved, if God can set aside His own law because of a fighter, there is no witch, devil or principality that can stop you from becoming what God wants you to be if you deploy the fighting spirit.

TOPIC: YOUR DESIRE AND YOUR DELIVERY.
SCRIPTURE: Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. PSALM 42:7.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is a spiritual magnetic force of attraction between you and that which you desire.
It has been confirmed that desire is the secret of delivery. People take delivery of what they desire and seek after. What you desire, you must acquire.
Psalm 42:7 says,
Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
What you desire is what you attract. There is a spiritual magnetic force of attraction between you and that which you desire.
For example, when you see a pastor who shepherds a crowd of people, it is because he has a passionate desire for people.
Some years ago, the crusade director of Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry came to our church. And while we were talking, he said to me, “I will make sure Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke comes to this church; you know Bonnke likes crowd.”
Then I said, “No wonder he gets crowd.” Reinhard Bonke liked crowd and crowds of people are seen in his crusades.
You see, what you don’t like, you will lack. If your desire is stronger, your deliveries will be greater.
Your assignment is to increase the fire of your desire.
I want you to know that your desire is the call of your spirit. Your desire is a call of the spirit for the manifestation of certain dimensions of God through your life. Your desire is the call of your soul.
There are things your soul is calling for, through your desire. For example, your desire may be a call for a very fearful dimension of prophetic operations, unusual apostolic manifestations of miracles signs and wonders, etc. And as long as that desire remains, you are going to attract the relevant gift and anointing for that level of manifestations.
This is the reason for the difference between the results of different men and ministries. The difference in the results of men is in the weight, quality and the intensity of their desire. There are many light-hearted people, and so, they experience light results in life. So, what you carry is what you can manifest.
Remember this: There is a spiritual magnetic force of attraction between you and that which you desire.
ASSIGNMENT:

2. Make up your mind to increase the level of your desire so you can attract greater things to your life.

MESSAGE:
Prayer is one of the greatest weapons that God gave to man; the ability to call on Him anytime we want and have Him answer us. It is a signed blank cheque to His children. The question now is, how come some Christians don’t use this blank cheque? The answer is in Psalm 10:4:
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Christians that do not pray are proud; it means that they do not have God in all their thoughts because they think they are smart enough to solve all their problems. (1 Corinthians 1:25) says that no matter how wise you are, the things of God that may appear foolish far exceed human wisdom, and the things that seem weak far exceed human strength. It is foolishness not to pray.
One day, when I was a child, I was playing football in front of our house. At a point, I kicked the ball to the top of the roof, and it got stuck there. I was little, so I couldn’t see the ball. I tried using a stick to get the ball down from the roof, but I was not able to. My dad was sitting close by, but I didn’t call him for help. At last, when I was tired, I asked for his help, and he said, “You saw me here all this while, but you didn’t think to ask for my help.” He stood up and, with one sweep of his hand, brought the ball down. I thought I could bring the ball down by myself, and I kept stressing myself to do so even though I could have just asked my dad for help and gotten the ball easily. Many people stress themselves unnecessarily, running from pillar to post in search of solutions to problems that can easily be solved on their knees in prayers to God.
God gave you a blank cheque in Jeremiah 33:3:
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
I have been using my blank cheque at every opportunity, and God has been answering and showing me great and mighty things that I did not know. Will you also begin to use your blank cheque?

SUMMARY: In Matthew 20:28, Jesus has made the provision for any challenging situation that we maybe going through, new dawn comes with making request to the MOST HIGH GOD, there is nothing hard for Him to do. Jeremiah 32:29.
CONCLUSION: To access your new dawn, you must follow the TRUE DOOR. John 10:9, getting fresh start begins with personal transformation in thought and in character of one that desires it, act of gratitude to God and affirmation of one status as light. Matthew 5:13-16 will sustain one's new dawn and open more doors.

LESSON INTRODUCTION: Many do not show appreciation to God for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly miracles received, even in RCCG, not all that witnessed BEYOND EXPECTATION CONVENTION were alive to see HEAVEN'S CONVENTION, God deserves our thanksgiving for different victories, miracles of protection, provisions on daily basis and unseen battles He fought for us. Ingratitude denies many access to more blessing, we need to cultivate virtue of appreciation as believers so as to avoid God blocking us from enjoying fulfilment of divine promises, therefore take time to give God praise.

MESSAGE:
One negative trait I have seen in many ministers of God is pride. Once God calls and equips them with gifts for the calling, they begin to think that they are special. The opposite is the case, however, because (1 Corinthians 1:27) says that God calls the weak, the foolish, and those that are nought. When God calls you for an assignment, you must be extremely grateful to Him for the privilege of being called and for every single achievement as you walk in your calling because, without Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5).
As I mentioned earlier in this series, I studied people who were called before me and who succeeded in their callings. One of them was Apostle Paul; He was an academic like me before he was called by God. I noticed that Paul was always grateful to God. He wrote in (1 Thessalonians 5:18):
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
In our Bible reading today, we see how grateful Mary was for being chosen to give birth to our Saviour Jesus Christ and she succeeded in her calling. If you really want to succeed in your calling, then you must be grateful to God always. I don't know about you, but I can never forget how good God has been to me.
We had just finished a service in a foreign country one day and God really moved in that service, many souls got saved and there were all kinds of miracles. On my way back to the hotel, I discussed the great things that happened in the service with those that were with me. When we arrived, the fellow sitting in the front seat of the car opened the door to get down and as he slammed the door shut, my finger got caught in the door frame. Up until today, I have no idea of how my finger got caught in the doorframe. I cried out in pain and everyone rallied around me saying, "Sorry". As I went upstairs, I asked God, "Lord, why did you let this happen to me?" He said, "You were talking about all the great things I did in the service and you didn't even turn to Me to say, 'Thank you Lord.’” I realised my error, apologised and thanked Him. By the time I got to my room, the pain had completely disappeared.
God is watching to see if you will be grateful or not. He will warn you once or twice if you are ungrateful. If you refuse to heed His warnings, He will withdraw His support and that will be dangerous.

I talked to a well-known minister one time. For over fifty years, he had gone around the world doing so much good. Most people were very appreciative and received him well, but in his hometown, the editors of the local newspaper never liked him. They were constantly finding something bad to write about him. He could do a hundred things right, but they wouldn't report on that. They would find the one thing they didn't like and make a big deal about it. This went on year after year. He had an interesting perspective, he told me, if it weren't for their newspaper, I wouldn't have accomplished as much. I asked, "What do you mean? He answered that the newspaper not only kept me on my knees, but it gave me the fuel to prove them wrong. The minister went on to build a beautiful university in that city, which tens of thousands of young people have attended. Toward the end of his life, when he was retired, that paper's editors finally had a change of heart. They wrote a big front page article that celebrated everything he had ever done. It was as though all the criticism was making him better. It kept him stirred up. He was more determined and more diligent and couldn't let his guard down.
There are some things we don't like, somethings we may even be praying for God to take away from us, but if He removed them, we wouldn't reach our highest potential. That opposition is making you stronger, those people who try to push you down, the betrayal, the disappointment, none of these can keep you from your destiny. God has the final say. If He hasn't removed it, that means it is working for you. He strategically placed Goliaths, the Judases, the opposition in our lives. Without Goliath, you won't take your throne. Without Judas, you won't reach your destiny. Without the naysayers, you don't become all you were created to be.

*TOPIC: YOUR TEARS SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN*
📖 *TODAY'S TEXT:*
Psalm 30:1-5
🔑 *KEY VERSE:*
"Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy" (Psalm126:5).
🖊️ *COMMENTARY*
The Psalm is about the restoration of the Jews to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity in Babylon during which their weeping recorded in Psalm137 was turned into joy. Their captivity, though painful, resounded to great spiritual, social, economic and political blessings and prosperity because of God's loving kindness, mercy and faithfulness. Your captivity shall be turned into joy today in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Most good deeds are done in tears and discomfort, ranging from personal investments to rendering services to God and humanity. The farmer buys the land in tears, clears the bush in tears, tills the hard soil in tears, sows the seeds in tears, whether in the sun or rain and tends the crops in tears, protecting them from weeds and pests but the time of harvest will be different because it is done with joy, one seed, like a grain of maize or beans yielding so much. This will be a great return for the money and other resources which he invested by denying himself certain things.
Serving God effectively cannot be done without tears. Most God-centered prayers are done in tears from broken hearts, intercessions for undeserving people are done in tears, confessions of wrong deeds are done in tears, genuine repentance comes with tears, and serious offences committed against people are forgiven in tears by the offended people. Serious restitution are done in tears and most sincere apologies are done in tears. Offering sacrifices to God must cost some pains, sowing in tears, yet cheerful in anticipation of the reward. We must labour to win souls, disciple them, intercede for them; visit them. There must be tears in all profit yielding investments at the time of inception.
Today's devotion is an encouragement to do good though with tears because of the pain and discomfort associated with such good deeds. It's not always easy giving out hard earned money for the development or training of one's children, siblings or the underprivileged ones, but the time of harvest will be a time of joy and celebration. God won't allow our labour to be in vain and we shall surely reap in joy. Even if those we helped may forget us, God is not unrighteous to forget our labour of love (Heb 6:10; Gal 6:9-10; 1Cor 15:58). Some of the rewards may be received hereafter as crowns, so let's be encouraged to jettison cheap services whether to God, humanity or ourselves which produce no tears and prospects of joy.
