THE CROSS: MYSTERY OF GOD’S MERCY

THE CROSS: MYSTERY OF GOD’S MERCY

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”

(Psalm 107:1-2)

Beloved, with a heart overflowing with gratitude to the Almighty God for His immeasurable love for us and for tenaciously upholding us in the hollow of His Mighty hand, I welcome you into this new month and declare by the instrumentation of the Holy Spirit that every dried bone in your life shall come back to life this month in Jesus Name. May you experience the power of His resurrection in every aspect of your life this year in Jesus Name.

In this edition, we shall be looking back and attempt a recount of how we have been gracious beneficiaries of the Lord’s Goodness and how  His exceeding grace has been and continues to sustain us in the aspects of miraculous provision of resources as well as good health. Indeed, we have enjoyed several unmerited privileges for years. May all glory, honour and adoration be ascribed unto the Lord, in Jesus Name. We pray to experience more of the Lord’s mercy in the years ahead in Jesus Name.

Beloved, let us now get down to the business of the moment. In this month, we shall be looking at a significant factor in our Christian faith, which is the mystery surrounding the cross. It is significant to note that many Christians have different understanding about the cross.  While some view it as a symbol of Christian suffering, others see it as a meeting point between the divinity and humanity. Some even refer to it as man’s vertical relationship with God and God’s horizontal relationship with man.

In this edition however, we shall be using this medium to look at this critical issue of the cross in another dimension to enable us have a deeper understanding of it, and also spiritually seek ways to enjoy its benefits.

We need to understand that Christ did not suffer the unjust punishment and ridicule meted to him on the cross because He was a sinner.  He endured the excruciating pain on the cross, thereby paying the full debt of our sin and delivered salvation to us, knowing fully well that we couldn’t afford to pay for our sin. He paid the fully price for our total redemption from sin, death, sickness, curses and poverty with His blood and gave us fruitful and abundant life free of charge. Galatians 3:13-14 clearly alluded to this when it says;

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

When Jesus was about to die on the cross, He declared “It is finished” (John 19:30). This declaration by our Saviour immediately put an end to human suffering, ridicule, shame and reproach of life though these benefits can only be enjoyed or appropriated by those who acknowledge and appreciate this uncommon mercy demonstrated by Jesus on the cross.

Sequel to Jesus act of mercy on the cross, I hereby announce and present the cross to you as another dimension or symbol of His mercy.  Ephesians 2:4-5 says;

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved;)”

Mercy is indeed the promise of God and we need this mercy of God in Christ Jesus for total deliverance and pardon from sin. We also need this mercy to help us fulfil our destiny. We need personal experience of God’s mercy in every aspect of our life.

For the benefit of those who are in doubt that the cross is the symbol of mercy, it is important to refer you to Luke 23:34 that says;

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

Here Jesus showed mercy to His accusers and even prayed for them. Jesus showed mercy to the thief who acknowledged that He was a sinner and pleaded for mercy and he was pardoned. Luke 23:42-43 says;

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

There are several dimensions of the mercy of God meant for the living, some of which are:-

a) Sinner to saint

b) Failure to success

c) Sickness to sound health, etc.

Mercy is the divine, favourable disposition of God toward man. We cannot achieve meaningful things or fulfil our destiny without obtaining the mercy of God. It is always difficult to achieve God’s ordained purpose or destiny in life without His mercy.  Romans 9:15-16 says;

“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.”

The above scripture gives us a strong and convincing revelation of the promises of God but we need to understand that without God’s mercy those prophecies or promises may not come to fruition. It is not about money, it is all about the Lord’s mercy! The greatest need of a man in fulfilling his destiny at a critical time like this is grace which is the offspring of mercy. Hebrews 4:16 says;

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

It is very important for us to understand that we cannot by a stretch of imagination achieve anything for or in God by merit except by His mercy. The fact that you are very zealous, brilliant, energetic or hardworking may not guarantee good success. Good as they may be, these human attributes must be lubricated by the mercy of God to produce good success.  Success in marriage cannot be achieved by beauty alone; otherwise many beautiful ladies of today and women wouldn’t have remained single at old age or divorced in their prime. Same goes for the men.  Proverbs 18:22 says;

“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”

May the Lord put us on the platform of divine mercy in Jesus Name. The greatest prayer for a man could pray, should be “Lord, show me your mercy.” The mercy we need in life cannot be paid for with physical money. Matthew 9:13 says;

“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Now know that anything acquired by reasons of physical abilities are limited to our strength. God’s mercy goes beyond human abilities. Mercy makes a man operate beyond human boundaries of understanding. Mercy lifts a man up with unlimited resources of God. Mercy gives a man unfathomable success that cannot commensurate with human connection or resources. You don’t need to compare yourself with others, what you need to do is to earnestly ask for God’s mercy. The Bible says those who compare themselves with others are not wise. 2nd Corinthians 10:12 says;

“For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

We ought to be an object of God’s mercy. There is need to acknowledge our weakness, limited resources and ask for God’s mercy. We should not wait until we come to the crossroad in life or run out of our strength due to human struggle. I Samuel 2:9 says;

“He will keep the feet of his saints and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.”

Therefore, do not run out of strength, idea or connection before you ask for His mercy. Psalm 147:10-11 says;

“He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.”

This shows that God is not interested in horse power. Any man that obtains God’s mercy can never be at the mercy of any man because His mercy is all and all. Though mercy obtained from God does not make a man to be lazy or indiscipline, mercy ushers a man into a divine process of fulfilling the purpose of God in His life.

The divine door of mercy leads to fulfilment of destiny. The necessity of mercy in life is so important to the point that Jesus Christ Himself needed to obtain the Father’s mercy to fulfil His purpose here on earth. Hebrews 5:7 says;

“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;”

God’s blessing upon the life of David is indicative of the fact that God’s mercy takes a man beyond family background, profile or connection. God’s mercy leads to genuine repentance and this mercy also brings about sanctification, helps in baptism of the Holy Ghost and finally leads to perfection.

Beloved, I urge us do away with human struggling. Do not rely on your strength or idea. Just come to the throne of grace as Hebrews 4:16 enjoins us to do:

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Jesus is waiting for you to allow Him help you out of the predicaments of life .in Mathew 11:28, He says, “come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and l will give you rest”

Reference to this above scripture, it is confirmed and proved that, is only those who enjoys the mercies of God that have rest for their soul. The mercy from God takes care of anxiety, fear, worry and torments of life challenges. Just believe the sonship of Jesus Christ, surrender to His Lordship and all the benefits will be yours.

CHISELED FOR GREATNESS

Beloved, blessed be the name of our Lord for revealing the mystery surrounding the cross, May His name be glorify (Amen).

Having being blessed with the numerous benefits of the mercies of God, We have been empowered by the deeper understanding of what mercy of God can do in fulfilling purpose of life. Nevertheless, many can received mercy and it may not have any notable and positive effect in their life because of abuse of privileges of God by mankind. Many highly favored men and women have fallen from grace to grass even in our contemporary living just because they abused the mercies of God. They took God and His words for granted. Friends, I discovered that the level of mercy we enjoys from God will be determined by our constant and willingness to obey the Statutes, commandment or the word of God in our daily living. God is ever faithful to His word, His promises, and His covenant and to His people (children).God is ever willing to lift His children to any mountain top blessings, but often times, His children are not faithful to the level of His expectation due to bad character. 1 Corinthians 16: 9 says “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries”. The greatest adversary of man and his destiny is a bad character which must be subdued, and the best way to subdued bad character is to allow someone to be chiseled or be discipline by a carpenter (God).The carpenter can make the best use of the woods if the woods will allows itself to be chiseled. In this edition, I will like to concentrate more on the churches (The ministers and the workers in the vineyard of the Lord) because if the foundations be destroyed, what will the righteous do?

Friends, The characters (Adversaries) are as follows:

A) PRIDE AND ARROGANCE

The first part of the redundant flesh that must be chiseled away is, pride and arrogance

These are fleshly activities that must be chiselled away from the life of a believer or a man of God, before he can be made usable in the sight of God. Beloved, there is so much arrogance, boasting, self-exaltation, and self-glorification that go on in the lives of men and Ministers of the Gospel.

From the testimonies we hear, there is so much self-glorification. And God is saying, As long as that pride is there; as long as that arrogance is there; as long as that raising of the shoulders is there, I cannot use you.”

What was it that led to the fall of Lucifer?

Pride! He lost his Ministry because of pride.

What was it that drove King Nebuchadnezzar into the bush?!  Pride!

What was it that made Queen Vashti to lose her throne? Pride! Her husband said, “Come.” She said, “No”.

What was it that killed Absalom? Pride!

There is so much desire to be praised and worshipped, that has led us to crave for titles and a lot of accolades that are not necessary. It is an unhealthy desire.

There are many persons who are angry when they are not recognized. There are many people that would keep malice with someone forever because they feel they are not sitting in the right place. And God sees beyond the outside. He sees the heart of people. He says, “If this little anointing I gave you has raised your shoulders like this, can I take you beyond where you are? It would kill you!.

Every single day of your life, there is a need to go before the presence of the Lord and ask Him to check you out if there is any wicked way in your life.

There was a Minister of God that was so mightily used of God, powerfully anointed and used of God. He was so powerfully anointed that the anointing of God would come upon him once in a while and he would begin to dance in the crowd. And as he danced, cripples would begin to walk! He was a specialist in rheumatic cripples. He blasted them out like fire.

He moved in so much power that, one day, he was in South Africa ministering, and all of a sudden, something entered his head and he said, “The whole world is right now under my feet.” Serious! Incredible! There is only one person who has the right to say that. His Name is El-Shaddai, the heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool.

As for that Minister, that was the last crusade he ever held. He left there and became a rheumatic cripple! It was as if all the rheumatic demons he ever cast out returned on him. He died on a wheelchair!

Reinhard Bonnke was said to have visited him because he had heard of him and how much he moved in the power of God. It was said that when he met the man of God, he was not able to talk to him in an upright position because his body was so badly twisted! He had to kneel and bend over to look at his face.

Pride goeth before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction.

John Alexander Dowie ministered so authoritatively that the people said he was the Elijah to come and he accepted the praise. He decided to move from Chicago to New York and chattered a train with 100,000 people to follow him to do the Elijah declaration, a declaration of himself as the Elijah that was to come or “the last apostle’. He went from that declaration to affliction. Just like our previous example, those who wrote his biography said it looked like every sickness he cast out returned to his body. One of the foremost minister in this country said he saw his picture reading the Bible from a wheelchair.

This is the undoing of many of us. God helps us with a little money and we become too big for the one who lifted us up. Bishop Oyedepo said and l quotes, “You do not only need a ladder to climb up, you need it to remain up.”Please refuse to be addicted to men’s approval. Refuse to be addicted to men’s praises.

Refuse to be angry when you are not recognized. Do not struggle to be known; struggle to know. When you know, you will be known.

God has to chisel you because He says He will not share his glory with any man. He has to chisel you until you are really ready to be His battle axe.

King Herod arrogated himself to a level he ought not to be and God sent an angel to slap him. He was consumed by worms on the spot (Acts 12:23)

When you over-celebrate yourself, God may withdraw His help so that you can see your nakedness. When you think your wealth is your making and your prosperity is your making, or the anointing you carry is your making God will withdraw from you a little, so you can see how naked you are without Him.

The renowned evangelist, Benny Hinn, said one day he went before God to pray and he said to God, “Please do not take your anointing from me. It is all I have.” And God told him, “Do not ask me not to take it, rather ask me to return it, because I took it away a long time ago.” He lay on his face for two weeks waiting on the Lord, away from human presence

“Lord, if you take it, what then will I do with my life? What is left with me? You can take my wife, children, cars or anything you want but I beg you Lord, do not take away your presence from me.”

He remembered what become of Samson when the anointing had left him. That is what pride, self exaltation and arrogance can do to a man. God showed mercy on Benny Hinn and restored His presence in his life.

The Bible says, “What have you that you have not received? And if you received it, why do you behave as if you gave it to yourself?” (1 Corinthians 4:7) This is what is limiting people.

Get this: If it is the apostolic anointing you have, there are more apostles that have gone before and beyond you. Ayi Kwei Armah wrote a book titled The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born. In case you think you are beautiful, you have not seen beautiful people yet. In case you say you are anointed, you have not seen anointing yet. In case you say you are called; you have not seen calling yet, so calm down.

Imagine a young boy of twenty-two or twenty-three years of age who calls himself an apostle or prophet. He is running and elderly people are running after him. Imagine! Your father is calling you papa and you are not afraid? A person who can give birth to you calls you papa or mama and you agree? And you say, “Yes, how are you?”

That person has no future. He is a short distance runner. He is not a marathon runner. Marathon runners do not behave like that. But this is one thing that destroys the destinies of pastors and children of God. They are too proud.

You see, some people are more comfortable with adversity. God needs to chisel something out of your life! Say to Him today:

“Lord, is there anything in my life that makes me unstable? Anything you need to chisel, go ahead and chisel it out.”

JEALOUSLY, ENVY OR COMPETITIVE TENDENCIES

The next thing to be chiseled out is jealously, envy or competitive tendencies – the desire to outdo, undo and overdo others-the desire to de-shine others.

A Minister narrated a story of a particular place he used to go to preach. Then, all of a sudden, people got jealous that when he came to minister, he de-shines the others.

Are we in competition? What is the competition between a physics and chemistry teacher? What is the competition between a doctor and a lawyer? They are fulfilling different assignments. The sky is too wide for any star to block the shining of another star! The forest is too thick for two elephants to jam! The sky is too wide for two birds to collide. I do not fulfil my destiny at the expense of your destiny.

“You build a big church, I build a big church. You buy a car, I buy a car. You travel abroad, and I travel abroad…” This is too unhealthy for Ministry and life!

There are people who when you tell them a testimony like, “God added one thousand people to our church last week” instead of them to settle down and marvel at the awesomeness of God, congratulate you and try to find out how you achieved that , they would rather say something equivalent to what you said. Better still, they would tell you that the week past; they bought ten parcels of land. They tell you they have ten branch churches in the city. If you say something, they have to say something. They cannot stand your success story.

If you cannot stand the success story of another person, you have no future! If you cannot stand the victory someone is gaining and you are not happy, you have no destiny in God. It has to be chiseled away. Your friend tells you she has found someone to marry, and you would not even smile a little. You rather begin to think of yourself; “Why should she leave me behind?” Then you begin to ask, “What kind of man is he? What did he study? Did he attend a university? Where is he working?”  Then the next thing is, “Ah, such man? Well. As for me, I know that if I have to wait for the right person, I will.” And that is what is preventing them from getting that right person. Even if they get the right person, it will affect their home, because that sort of petty spirit must be dealt with, before God can use them.

When was the last time you contributed to the success of another person? I mean you were actually happy that someone is doing something great and you went there to identify with him?

Friends, discoveries show how Envy and competitive jealousy was part of what killed the healing revival that began in America around 1947. This revival that lasted till about 1959 was literally ruined when a competitive spirit entered. I am talking about the revival that featured people like A. A, Allen, William Branham, Jack Coe, Clifton Erickson, Vel. Mar Gadner., Leroy Jenkins, Oral Roberts, Tommy Hicks, T.L Osborne, etc.

For some of them, when one person’s tent is 10,000 seaters, the other person would make his 10,200. The point to prove was, “Who had the largest tent in town?” After a while, the Spirit of God left the majority in that revival, except for a few who finished strong, among other reasons, because of a heart devoid of strife.

No one knows you better than you, apart from God. And you know the kind of animosity that begins to grow when you hear about the progress of a person who, perhaps, is your mate and it is like you are not moving at the same level or pace. Kill that thing! Channel that bitterness to intercession and begin to pray for that person. Ask God to help him reach his destiny. For if you ask God to help someone reach his destiny, you have sown a seed to reach your own destiny as well.

Now you see, the wood is available, but it is not usable because it is too solid. Some things needs to be chiseled from it.

The thought of a neighbor's success often leaves natural man with the feeling of envy. Satan wanted to take the place of God but was debased. Cain killed his brother Abel and Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery because of envy.

There was a story in: 1 SAMUEL 22:6-10.

 "That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?" (1 SAMUEL 22:8).

From above scripture, we discovered that King Saul had become very displeased with David since the day the women of Israel ascribed more glory to him than to the king (1 Samuel 18:7-9). At this point, the monster had become so enthroned in Saul's life that he left the business of the kingdom in pursuit of David. Instead of being at the palace, he pitched his tent in Gibeah under a tree with his servants. Envy made him to imagine and believe falsehood, suspecting even his own son to have confederated with David to kill him. All his efforts to get information concerning David and Jonathan from his servants proved abortive. However, Doeg, the Edomite informed him against Ahimelech the priest's kindness to David.

The word of God stands against envy; it is numbered among the works of the flesh. The Bible says that "... envy is the rottenness of bones" (Proverbs 14:3). As a Christian who is looking heavenward, you must thoroughly guard your heart against the spirit of envy. This is only made posible when self is crucified. Many believers are still struggling with the self-life and where self exists, envy will thrive.

You must seek the Lord for the circumcision of your heart to be set free from self-indulgence. Remember that envy, if allowed, is dangerous to the well-being of the soul. It tends to pride; it debases and can eventually lead to self-destruction as it did to Saul.

BITTERNESS AND UNFORGIVENESS

The third thing that God needs to chisel from the lives of people is bitterness and unforgiveness

Bitterness is an activity of the flesh that must go. There are people who are not in talking terms with one another. Yet they sing, “Anointing fall on me; anointing fall on me; let the power of the Holy Ghost fall on me; anointing fall on me.” And the angels of God are singing an opposing response, “Anointing will not fall on you…”

This is the bomb: There are children of God who are not in speaking terms with each other, some men of God who preach the word of God, yet they would not answer when someone talks to them. They keep malice. They see the other coming and they pretend as if they never saw him. That is solid wood that has not been chiselled and therefore, cannot be used.

And if you ask what the problem is. They say, “He said something about me. He stole my members…”

Personally, I have made up my mind that no one on this earth will take me to hell. For I have learnt the techniques of dealing with it. Daddy Mathew Owojaiye my father in the Lord says” people are free to go to hell but nobody can drag him to follow them to hell”. This is correct personal resolution honestly. I look at myself and see how many times I offended God and He did not kill me. Jesus taught us to pray, “Father… forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others”. Is there someone who has never offended God in his lifetime? Is there someone who has not broken the heart of God? Is there someone who has not disappointed God in one way or the other? Even you may have offended God many times today.

I know that if I hold a person in my heart, I am not just holding the person, I am holding myself. Probably, the person does not even know that I am angry, bitter or offended. He goes about doing his normal activities and I am having sleepless nights.

I refuse to allow any devil to torments me like that!

I would rather pray and intercede for a person that offends me. If evil is the intention of his heart, then the prayer will work against him, but if he means good, the prayer will bless him and become a seed for my own life.

Every single day of your life, go before God and cleanse your heart. Ask God to reveal any hidden unforgivness, “Is there anyone who annoyed me that I have not yet forgiven? “The heart of a man is very deceitful. It could deceive you that you have forgiven someone until you hear the person’s voice, and the feelings of animosity would arise again.

Declare Today: “Lord, I am available, chisel my redundant flesh. Remove from my life excess wood and help me to be usable”.

The point is, there are people you may need to call right away. The way you look at the issue might not be the same way they look at it. Free yourself and become an instrument in the hands of God.

DISHONESTY: INSINCERITY, HYPOCRISY,

DOUBLE-FACEDNESS

The fourth group of things that must be chiseled out of the lives of people consists of dishonesty, insincerity, hypocrisy, and double-facedness.

This is a place where you say “A” and mean “B” evangelistic stories. Not evangelistic, but evangelistic, that is, exaggeration, so terrible. A thing is not a lie because of what was said; it is a lie because of what was implied. It is not a lie because of the statement; it was a lie because of what the statement was meant to imply.

Someone said to you ‘eat’. And you replied I do not want to eat now. He asked whether you are fasting.

Then you say, “It is well”. You are not fasting but what you said was to leave the man with the impression that you are fasting. So you lied! A thing is not a lie because of what was said but because of how it was implied.

It was Abraham Lincoln who said, “Anyone who can flatter can slander”. The one who says, ‘Oh, we have never seen anyone like you, can slander. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of truth. Friends, do not share a testimony or give details that are not correct. God is watching you. You cannot make God more powerful than He is with lies! Do not give an illustration that is not real. Job 13:7 says, Will ye speak wickedly for God? And talk deceitfully for him?

If there is a need for something to be done in the church, let the people know. Say, “We would love to do something in church. And as a result, I would love you to sow a seed and may the Lord bless you for giving your seed. “If you intend to raise a seed and pray a blessing over the people, you can go ahead and do so. Do not come to the people and say, “The Spirit of the Lord says I should raise a seed. People of God, we are going to really have to give a gift and this gift is going to produce a miracle within seventy-eight hours! Meanwhile, you know that you have a specific agenda in your heart, and you rather choose to put it in that form. The Almighty God, Who weighs your actions, is weighing you and what you are doing with His precious people.

ANGER AND HATERED

There was a life story of a 36-year-old woman, Mrs.  Stella that has been sentenced to death by Ikeja high court, for stabbing her neighbour to death, Mrs Stella, during a fight at their residence in Ajegunle, Lagos.

She collapsed on hearing the judge read her sentence, amidst tears from her friends, siblings and well-wishers... the law enforcement agents took her, infact, they carried her as she collapsed in the Court room back to the prison waiting for her execution time.

I am very sure, this woman acted in anger, she is terribly regretting her actions by now... but, who will give her a second chance to live? All dreams, vision and aspirations shattered just because of anger that could have been controlled... Just imagine her end on earth!! Those of you that have this mindset of lifting weapons for any small misunderstanding, you are just playing with your life...

Avoid anger, anger or hot temper, run away from it unless it will destroy you. No decision taken in anger that will not be regretted.

IMMORALITY, IMPURITY, INDECENCY

The fifth thing to be chiseled out is immorality, impurity, and indecency.

There are various forms of immorality. Having sexual affairs with a person you are not married to is fornication, while for the married it is adultery. There is lesbianism, a sexual orientation where women indulge in sexual activity with women. There is also homosexuality (gay), where men meet with fellow men. There is also masturbation, where people play with their reproductive organs. By the time they do this, a demon appears to have intercourse with them. There is also internet or DVD lewdness-pornography.

God says, ‘If you want me to use you, these must be chiseled off your life!” If someone has a weakness and he is trusting God to be delivered from it, the person should own up and be delivered from it. The matter is a bit milder than with someone who lives in it and thinks he deceives God and man.

There is also indecency where a person decides to dress immorally. He or she may not commit fornication, but someone may commit fornication on his/her account. That is, you dressed badly. A person lusted after you. He knows he cannot commit the sin with you, so he looks for someone he can do it with, spurred by your indecency. You are part of the equation. In fact, you are a partaker of his sin.

Married men should not play with other people’s wives wrongly. Singles should not play with someone they have not married as if they are married. Do not allow people to touch the sensitive parts of your body. I am sure you have seen people’s eyes, which are full of immorality before. You know and they know that they want to do something. Run away from such.

Declare:

“I take authority over the devil, over the spirit of immorality, over the spirit of lesbianism, over the spirit of homosexuality, over pornography, over every wicked spirit of the devil; I curse you in the Name of Jesus. Loosen your grip! Go! In the Mighty Name of Jesus!
